Expanded ESOL program, adding a third level to accommodate the needs of low beginner learners.

Added career advising and job search skills to the curriculum including resume writing and mock interview practice with community volunteers.

Grew the TEAS test prep pilot into a three-course Healthcare Career Pathway. The pathway removes barriers by supporting CNA’s preparation for nursing school admissions.

Hired two part-time, highly skilled and experienced teachers to help meet demand.

Continued to provide high quality instruction: 100% of students post-tested after 25 hours of instruction demonstrated learning gains and said they would recommend the program.
WHO WE ARE
Lamplight Women’s Literacy is a nonprofit 501c3 that partners with women of limited economic resources, encouraging them to envision ambitious futures and responding with tailored educational programs that support their goals. Women’s career advancement is centered in our program design, while programs serve all genders.
